Purchasing & Logistics Inventory Control Specialist

Primary Responsibilities : (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

• Count inventory, fill orders, post orders to computer system, receive trucks, unload, and place into stock using stock rotation procedures, work well with internal and external customers
• Keep work area neat, clean and safe at all times

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Communicate what product that may need to be ordered

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria

in addition to Greenbrier Standards.

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

• Warehouse inventory, retail or food related field preferred

Educational Requirements:

(Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

• Good telephone etiquette and good writing skills
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers efficiently and respectfully

Technical Requirements:

• Aptitude for math, number/detail oriented
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with keyboard and typing

Required Supervision: (Reports to, Supervision provided, number of people to supervise)

• Must be able to work independently. Some supervision provided.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to cope with constantly changing circumstances in a positive manner
