- Through effective teamwork, participate in multiple projects by aligning priorities and project scope requirements with Account Management, Operations, Engineering and Shared Services resources.
- Validate activity costs associated with transactional operations.
- Assist in Structuring, Validating, Analyzing, and Managing large amounts of data specific to supply chain analytical projects, problem solving, and decision support.
- Assist in developing formats and automating processes for reporting various supply chain metrics and Key Performance Indicators to ASCS operating business units and our partner organizations.
- Assist in the application of practical logistics and supply chain knowledge to identify supply chain network design, process flow, and cost improvements for ASCS operating business units and related customers.
Education and Experience Requirement Minimum:
- Current course work in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent bachelor program.
- Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling tools
- Experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview is a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access. Knowledge in SQL and ability to program Macros (VBA) is a plus.
- Ability to aggregate, manipulate, and automate data for efficient upload into supply chain modeling applications
- Basic skills in statistics and probabilities
- Mapping software experience is a plus (ESRI Business Maps, ArcGIS)
- Experience with Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru is a plus
- Data-driven, fact-based, detail oriented approach to analysis and problem solving
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clients
- Strong Project Management skills and ability to work independently within a team environment
