Business Planning Manager for Solutions and Growth Description
- The Business Planning Manager (BPM) for Poly is responsible for leading end-to-end planning activities across the Poly portfolio, connecting demand, supply, and execution to deliver optimal business outcomes. The role operates at a highly strategic and analytical level, driving complex planning decisions, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring alignment between supply chain capabilities and business priorities. This position plays a critical role in improving conversion, customer experience, inventory health, and financial performance, while enabling scalable and data-driven planning processes for Poly within the broader Personal Systems organization.

Priorities

(first 6–12 months)
  • Stabilize and optimize end-to‑end planning for Poly
  • Ensure strong demand/supply matching and execution alignment across regions
  • Improve planning accuracy, responsiveness, and issue resolution
  • Improve business performance across key metrics
  • Conversion and backlog reduction
  • Customer experience (ship dates, OTIF, lead time reliability)
  • Inventory health, including reduction of excess and aged inventory
  • Strengthen demand shaping and supply optimization levers
  • Drive prioritization across products, channels, and customers
  • Optimize allocation decisions in constrained environments
  • Improve coordination with Customer Operations and Category teams
  • Enhance data visibility and performance management
  • Develop and leverage KPIs to track execution gaps and business outcomes
  • Improve reporting consistency and transparency for Poly performance
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in planning processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements across planning flows
  • Leverage automation, advanced analytics, and AI‑driven insights
  • Ensure alignment with global planning standards and transformation initiatives
  • Strengthen cross‑functional alignment
  • Act as a key interface between supply chain, category, finance, and operations
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, risks, and trade‑offs

Candidate Profile
  • Experience 10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
  • Strong experience in demand/supply planning and business planning roles
  • Experience working in complex, global, and cross‑functional environments
  • Capabilities Advanced expertise in supply chain planning and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision making
  • Ability to operate independently in complex and ambiguous environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable planning strategies
  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency and simplification
Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
