** Overview:
** Marathon Petroleum Company LP is looking for a full-time Senior Demand Planning Analyst. This position will report to the Supply Chain Enterprise Planning Manager.  The Demand Planning Analyst plays a key role in advancing enterprise planning by integrating demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to ensure material availability, optimize network performance, and support business objectives.  This role partners across Supply Chain, business operations, and corporate functions to align planning decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and convert strategic priorities into executable supply plans.  

The successful candidate will combine analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication to drive data-informed decisions, support planning governance, and improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
** Responsibilities:*
* • Support end‐to‐end supply chain planning by integrating demand, supply, and inventory inputs to enable aligned, data‐driven decision‐making. Contribute to effective execution across short‐, mid‐, and long‐term planning horizons by ensuring plans reflect operational capabilities and business priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and update demand or supply plans using established planning processes, data, and tools. Ensure forecasts and plans are timely, accurate, and consistent with defined assumptions and planning calendars.
• Analyze trends, variability, and key drivers to generate insights that inform planning decisions. Identify risks, gaps, and constraints within demand and supply plans and support mitigation actions through analysis and scenario evaluation.
• Coordinate planning activities across functions, including planning, procurement, inventory, operations, and maintenance, to align inputs, assumptions, and timelines. Support collaboration and information flow across integrated planning processes.
• Track and manage constraints, risks, and imbalances across demand, supply, and inventory plans. Support alignment of plans across planning horizons by identifying trade‐offs and potential impacts to execution.
• Maintain planning data, tools, systems, and documentation in accordance with defined standards. Ensure consistency and integrity of planning inputs, methodologies, and outputs across processes.
• Communicate planning updates, changes, and impacts to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and planning forums. Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, coordination, and overall supply chain performance.  
** Minimum Qualifications**:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience required  
** Preferred Qualifications and Other**:
· Experienced with SAP, planning systems, or integrated business planning processes preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Two (2) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience required
