Position
Purpose:
The Specialist, Carrier Procurement, North America representative for domestic freight brokerage is highly motivated, competitive and a relationship-driven individual.
The Specialist, Carrier Procurement, North America is a Sales Representative and is responsible for sourcing reliable truckload capacity, negotiating competitive carrier rates, developing strong relationships with motor carriers, and ensuring shipments are covered and executed successfully from pickup through delivery.
This is a fast-paced, performance-driven position for someone who enjoys sales, negotiation, problem-solving, and building relationships. Specialist, Carrier Procurement, North America Representatives make frequent outbound calls, work under time pressure, negotiate rates and taking ownership of their freight. This role is vital to RIM gaining market share with our FTL clients and potential clients.
