There are a total of 360 international affiliates.

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarding to support and coordinate international ocean and air import shipments from origin through final delivery.

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with customers, overseas agents, steamship lines, airlines, truckers, customs brokers, suppliers, warehouses, and international teams to ensure shipments move efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ocean and air import shipments from booking through final delivery.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and provide proactive status updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate with overseas agents regarding shipment arrangements, documentation, and exceptions.
  • Assist with arranging trucking, warehousing, and final-mile delivery services.
  • Support customs brokers by providing the information and documentation required for customs clearance.
  • Review shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track cargo movements and help resolve transportation delays, delivery exceptions, and operational issues.
  • Prepare shipment files and ensure all documentation is complete and properly maintained.
  • Verify freight costs, vendor invoices, and customer billing information.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, assist with delivery scheduling, and provide timely problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, carrier requirements, and applicable international shipping regulations.

Experience with or willingness to learn:

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • UNIX w/Internal legacy TMS system
  • Carrier and airline tracking portals
  • Steamship line websites
  • Airline and container terminal websites
  • Online shipment and cargo tracking systems
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience or knowledge of ocean and/or air freight forwarding operations preferred.
  • Understanding of general international import procedures preferred.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $800 per week
  • Paid biweekly
