Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this job is to manage the purchase and delivery of materials, supplies, equipment, and services which have been issued for purchase.
Essential Functions*:
- Purchase material, components, supplies and services as needed. This includes issues PO, PO managing price, QTY, specifications, delivery date and terms
- Review MRP messages and execute in timely manner.
- Supplier relationship, call supplier, pull in request, order acknowledgements, providing accurate delivery dates to supply chain team and updating ERP
- Inventory management for items under his/her responsibility, bring right part, right QTY, right time.
- Obtain and analyze supplier quotes
- Solving receiving issues, missing documents, discrepancies, quality concerns etc
- Coordinates with internal departments about purchasing request, engineering request, production request, R&D request, etc
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Training / Skills /
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
