Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy environment for our employees and visitors by performing the following essential functions and responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Must understand and follow company safety policies.
• Must be able to adhere to the responsibilities and physical requirements of the job.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with a team.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Maintain janitor closets & equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Set up / take down of event materials.
• Lifting, loading, unfolding and moving tables, chair, materials, and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications/

Skills:

Basic Handyman, troubleshooting, repair, and general labor as needed.

Safety/

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires repetitive bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, and squatting.
• Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day.
• Good visual and spatial perception.
• Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
