Groundskeeper – Burlington, KY

Join Burlington Capital Properties for an exciting opportunity to assist in maintaining our Allen Creek housing community in Burlington, Kentucky. As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you will help team members protect and enhance the property’s appearance and upkeep.

• Clean all common areas and walkways, maintaining overall property appearance.
• Walk the property daily to maintain curb appeal – trash pickup, trimming, watering greenery and flowers, sweeping certain areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain resident relations – provide excellent customer service to residents; participate in resident functions as directed by the Property Manager.
• Follow all safety and liability guidelines; ensure all items in the safety inspection report meet company standards; report oversights to the Property Manager.
• Contribute to team effort – maintain expense control to meet budget; participate in preventative maintenance schedule as required; attend all staff meetings; other duties as assigned by management.

• General maintenance experience required.
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of English; able to communicate with coworkers.
• Ability to effectively communicate issues, problems, ideas, concerns, and work progress information.
• Interaction skills: positive interaction with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
• Schedule flexibility to meet set goals.
