Entry-Level Welder: Paid Training

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding division is seeking entry-level welders. No experience is required as we train you through our Welding School.

You’ll learn to perform structural and pipe welds across ship construction using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes in all positions. After training, you’ll be qualified to perform welds that meet nondestructive testing standards while progressing with the shipbuilding program.
