Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Ensures the smooth running of the golf course.

• Must always be courteous, friendly, and attentive to membership needs.
• Assigns starting times to members using a well-organized tee-time sheet in conjunction with the computerized tee-time system.
• Assists in bag room and cart room area on shotgun member guest days.
• Assists in pairing up unmatched players looking for a game on any given day.
• Maintains the pace of play through an effective ranger program.
• Communicates with golf shop and rangers via radio on daily play activity.
• Supervises the rangers and starter and assists the outside bag room supervisors.
• Responsible for the scheduling of all employees under his direct supervision.
• Explains the daily activities and expectations to rangers during the daily lineup.
• Delegates specific duties/assignments for the day to the Rangers.
• Helps direct and organize the setup of regular play and tournaments/shotguns.
• Collects guests/cart fees for record-keeping purposes.
• Keeps written records of the number of rounds on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Signs in players that may forget to register in the golf shop.

Supervises rangers and starters by carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good spoken and written English skills. Must be able to write grammatically correctly.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
