Position Summary: The Director is responsible for developing and executing sustainability strategies and initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, environmental impact, sustainability, governance (ESG). The role requires familiarity with OSHA regulations, comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Corporate Sustainability principles to create and monitor objectives, develop and implement policies, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, implement, and monitor company sustainability strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate best practices into daily operations in support of QMS, workplace safety and ESG programs.
- Assess and document current sustainability performance and drive change towards continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international ESG regulations and standards.
- Show strong communication skills utilizing communication tools to promote compliance with Quality and QMS programs.
- Lead a team consisting of direct reports and stakeholders in other areas.
- Maintain accurate records and stay highly organized.
- Define and maintain KPI reporting related to Quality and Sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date with developments and trends in sustainability and adjust strategies as needed.

Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field required.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or supply chain with increasing responsibility.
- Experience with implementation, maintenance, and auditing of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000).
- Osha 30-hour program certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading change and influencing decision making and strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading corporate initiatives related to ESG programs.
- Success in strategy development and implementation.
- Experience with validations and qualifications desired (systems, processes, facilities).
- Strong communication/analytical skills (written/oral).
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook).
- Ability to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to affect change and build and maintain positive partnerships at all levels both internal and external to the organization.
- Ability to travel to all company locations as required.
