The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, supporting and managing clinical and administrative staff, and maintaining compliance with organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively balance direct clinical care with operational leadership while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing clinic environment.
Qualifications- Licensed OT or SLP Required.
- Strong clinical background with leadership or management experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments.
- Provide direct patient care (40-50% of role) based on discipline.
- Maintain efficiency, quality standards, and operational excellence.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate clinic staff, including Front Office, OTs, PTs, STs, and ABA staff.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Address attendance, documentation, and performance concerns in a timely manner.
- Lead onboarding, training, and professional development in coordination with HR.
- Ensure compliance with BHSO, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain adherence to Employee Handbook guidelines across all staff.
- Participate in development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures.
- Serve as part of the clinic leadership team and collaborate with directors and HR.
- Communicate effectively regarding staffing, performance, budget, and safety matters.
- Facilitate monthly staff meetings and quarterly interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Act as a mediator for staff and patient/family concerns when needed.
- Promote a positive, supportive, and professional work environment.
- Encourage employee engagement, recognition, and morale-building activities.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR on hiring and staffing needs.
- Support onboarding, credentialing, and training of new employees.
- Ensure structured training pathways for all new team members.
- Monitor clinic supplies and coordinate ordering needs.
- Ensure adherence to communication and documentation policies.
- Oversee efficient use of clinic space and resources.
- Provide coverage support when staffing needs arise (as feasible).
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and success.
