North Bullitt High School is seeking a professional and motivated candidate to assume the role of clerical assistant. This person will primarily serve as the front clerical assistant for NBHS. Must be able to work as a team player. Perform routine typing and general clerical activities in support of a school or district function, including instructional programs, school sites, personnel, mail services, food services, and financial services;

apply procedures and policies within clearly specified procedures.

Hours: 7 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Length: 190 days per year

• 170 student instructional days
• 4 holidays
• 7 planning days
• 9 extended days

Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Employment Status: Full-time with benefits

Employment Type: 11-month employee on the classified pay schedule

• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
• Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.

Pay Scale

• Starting Pay (Step
  0): $16.46/hour
• Experienced Pay (Step 10): $20.26/hour

• Hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.

Payroll

Note:

While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.

Salary Formula:
Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay
