THE ROLE:
Do you enjoy building relationships, operations and being part of a business that is changing the future of agriculture and renewable energy? Serving as the Process Team Leader for Grissan Renewable Energy, you will play an important role in supporting Operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being organized, solving problems, leading teams, fostering existing relationships, and helping build something from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations Management
- Plans labor to ensure coverage – Fills in for any function as needed
- Ensure that operational plant is maintained to the highest level of safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure continuous process development and improvement completion.
- Responsible for leading the RNG1 team. Ensure team members are fully trained to high level of competency.
- Develop and maintain operational SOP’s/RA and training documentation for operations for all key tasks on site while auditing and identifying areas of risk.
- Adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental and Compliance aspects on sites under your control demonstrate a proactive approach to the implementation of safety recommendations from the HSEQ & Compliance team, instil a culture of ‘Don’t Walk By’ (DWB).
- Develop and implement training plan for new operators.
- Assist where required with training of new employees.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions for continuous improvement for systems and processes on all sites.
- Leader in EHS evaluations for activities.
- Ensure that all personnel operating plant on sites for which you are responsible are competent in all aspects of their role and ensure ongoing development.
- Liaising with Site Leader and HR Manager if any competency issues are identified.
- Provide leadership of day-to-day execution.
- Heavy involvement in budgeting and long-term planning.
- Data validation, error report reviews.
- Manage processes on site and ensure they are operating at maximum out puts and efficiencies.
- Ensure site operational KPI’s are documented, understood and are met or exceeded on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to ensure that the annual site budget is met or exceeded. Review as required and take action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Confirm that RNG1 Assets are operating to their specified inspection, testing and maintenance requirements.

- Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership teams.
- Be willing to wear multiple hats and contribute wherever needed to support business success.
- Proficient with software including trucking and feedstock tracking and reporting
- Proficient with Microsoft suite software for finance, budgeting, and accounting functions
- Ability to understand, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in operations leadership or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with management and employees at all levels, customers, and suppliers.
