Additional Location Operations Manager
The Additional Location Operations Manager serves as the primary institutional representative at Shawnee State's additional location in Chillicothe, Ohio. They direct and manage the additional location operations at Chillicothe, providing oversight and direction for the operations of all degree and course offerings at this site. The position oversees and directs all processes related to the delivery of SSU programs and courses at the additional location, including: recruitment and enrollment processes for prospective students seeking programs/courses at this location, student and faculty support for enrolled students, and serving as the primary point of contact addressing all operational needs for SSU students, faculty/staff and Adena team members at SSU's additional location (Chillicothe).
Due to the location on the campus of the Adena Regional Medical Center and the primary health care focus of programs, healthcare leadership experience is required.
FUNCTIONS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and administrative management for all academic and student support functions at the site. Ensures effective delivery of academic programs, compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous operational improvement.
- Directs and manages all operational activities associated with the delivery of academic programs, courses, student services technology resources, facilities coordination, and institutional partnerships at the University's additional location. Includes being point-of-contact for vendors engaged in service agreements for technology installed at additional location.
- Exercises independent judgement and decision-making authority regarding day-to-day operations, resource allocation, issue resolution, and stakeholder concerns to ensure uninterrupted delivery of academic programming and student support services. Key internal stakeholders include SSU administrative leadership, faculty, staff and external stakeholders include Adena administration and team members and community partners.
- Serves as University's designated on-site administrator and institutional representative, ensuring alignment between University objectives and additional location operations.
- Coordinates cross-functional operational activities among Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Informational Technology Services, Facilities, Finance and external partners.
- Develops and maintains strategic relationships that support enrollment growth, student success, academic quality, community partnerships, and institutional visibility at the additional location.
- Serves as primary University representative and relationship manager for all internal and external stakeholders associated with the additional location
- Develops, coordinates, and implements communication strategies that support enrollment, retention, stakeholder engagement, and effective operations.
- Implements recruitment and enrollment strategies and processes for SSU programs and courses at additional location in collaboration with CHHS Dean, relevant admissions team members (Director of Admissions, Chief Enrollment Officer, Admissions Associates, Advisors, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, key faculty/program directors, etc). Plans, coordinates, and participates in student engagement and recruitment activities at various venues. Cultivates strategic partnerships with healthcare systems, community organizations, workforce partners, educational institutions, and regional employers to enhance program visibility and support enrollment growth.
