Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work closely with the CEO in driving strategic growth and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused executive who has successfully built operational processes, led high-performing teams, and scaled B2B businesses.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming strategy into execution while ensuring operational efficiency across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the CEO to execute the company's strategic vision.
- Build, implement and optimise operational processes and business systems.
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional performance.
- Drive operational excellence, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop KPIs, monitor performance and implement data-driven decision making.
- Manage budgets, resources and operational planning.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and effective corporate governance.
- Lead organisational development, recruitment and talent management.
- Fluent Arabic speaker (essential).
- Portuguese language skills would be a distinct advantage.
- Egyptian nationals are preferred; however, applications from all nationalities are welcome.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a senior operational leadership or executive management role.
- Proven experience building operational processes and business infrastructure from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success leading and growing B2B organisations
. - Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience reporting directly to a CEO or Board is highly desirable.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional execution skills.
