Sherwood Aviation is a recognized leader in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, offering component Repair & Overhaul, Sales & OEM Distribution, Engineering & Manufacturing services, and Training& Technical Support to customers world-wide is looking for an Account Manager to join our team.
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for aviation customers, building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role manages customer accounts, oversees contract performance, and works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Finance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable FAA regulations and company standards.
The Account Manager is responsible for understanding customer needs, communicating maintenance status, resolving issues, identifying business opportunities, and supporting long-term customer satisfaction and retention.

- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments throughout the maintenance or service process.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long‑term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Coordinate repair projects, inspections, modifications, and component services with Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, costs, and customer expectations to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, work scopes, and service agreements.
- Review maintenance estimates, change orders, invoices, and final billing with customers.
- Provide customers with regular updates regarding maintenance progress, schedule changes, and delivery timelines.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally while coordinating corrective actions with internal departments.
- Identify opportunities to expand services, increase customer value, and support business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, communications, and account activity in the company's CRM or ERP system.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Finance to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support customer audits, visits, and business reviews.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with customer requirements and company policies.
