The Network Orchestration, Monitoring, Alerting, and Diagnostics (NOMAD) team within Comcast’s CONNECT-ivity organization seeks a technology leader to serve as Manager, CDN Automation Development within the CDN infrastructure engineering vertical. In this role, you will lead a team that builds and operates automation to manage Comcast’s nationwide Content Delivery Network. Comcast’s CDN, including services for syndication partners, carries more than 50 Tbps of video and other traffic at peak and serves subscribers from the closest possible edge locations to deliver a premium entertainment experience.

  • Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of CDN infrastructure automation from concept through launch and ongoing optimization
  • Implement and optimize modern SDLC practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, incident management, and engineering metrics
  • Oversee the planning, estimation, resourcing, and sequencing of complex cross functional engineering initiatives
• Technical Oversight & Governance
  • Set architectural direction and make key technical decisions
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability
  • Reduce operational risk through disciplined incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
• Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as the engineering executive point of contact for senior leadership, business partners, compliance, and operations
  • Translate complex technical concepts and tradeoffs into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
