Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Holdings company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a transformational Senior Director, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy across a growing network of rail service operations throughout North America.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, this executive leader will be responsible for advancing environmental stewardship, regulatory excellence, operational safety, risk management, and organizational capability across multiple facilities and field operations. This is an opportunity for a proven EHS executive to leave a lasting mark on a respected industrial organization by building world-class systems, developing leaders, driving environmental compliance, and elevating performance across every level of the business.

Executive Visibility & Influence You will serve as the company's most senior EHS leader and principal advisor to executive leadership, helping shape strategic decisions that impact operations, employees, customers, and business growth.

This role carries a significant environmental focus, including oversight of:
Air permitting and regulatory compliance Environmental risk management Hazardous materials programs Waste and water management Spill prevention and response Environmental audits and remediation efforts We are seeking a leader who understands how environmental excellence contributes to operational excellence.

As Senior Director, EHS, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all environmental, health, safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management activities across Transco Rail Services. You will partner closely with Operations, Human Resources, Engineering, Legal, Risk Management, and executive leadership to ensure the organization operates safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable regulations while supporting continued business growth.

Environmental Excellence Lead enterprise-wide environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives Oversee air permitting, emissions management, waste programs, water compliance, and environmental reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local environmental regulations Drive proactive environmental risk identification and mitigation Lead environmental audits, assessments, and corrective action programs
