Aboutthe Role
The Operations Manager will oversee daily activities for a portfolio of utility-scale solar plants. You’ll be responsible for performance optimization, safety compliance, vendor management, and reporting to senior leadership on plant KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple solar facilities
- Monitor plant performance and develop strategies to maximize output
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Manage vendor contracts for maintenance, repairs, and spare parts
- Prepare operational reports for senior management and investors
- Lead a small team of technicians and coordinate with regional managers
- 6+ years in power plant operations or renewable energy O&M
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and grid interconnection
- Experience leading teams and managing external contractors
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools
