The Project Engineer 2 assists and supports the Project Manager on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer 2 must be a flexible and adaptable team player and have strong communication and client service skills.

• Setup initialcontracts and project information
• Coordinate various trades
• Resolving designcoordination issues
• Receive, review,forward, and track the status of submittals
• Oversee &manage the RFI process
• Assist in the management of the project permit process
• Assist inpreparations of bid packages and procurement
• Identify longlead items and establish procurement priorities
• Updateconstruction schedule based on project team input, Trade Contractorprogress, and materials delivery
• Change management systems, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing quotations and change orders
• Track andinspect material deliveries
• Assists withreports regarding the financial performance of the project
• Assist in the preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required
• Attend and/or lead project meetings, as directed by the Project Manager
• Oversee timelydistribution and accurate recording of all meeting minutes
• Assist and/orcomplete project close-out
• Communicate and enforce Manhattan’s environmental, health, and safety managementpolicies
• Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-free environment through own actions and mentoringothers
• Assist in the review of Subcontractor monthly payment applications
• Assist in coordinating punch list items and procedures
• Perform quality control inspections & oversee QPL process log
• Oversee project-specific integration of quality, closeout, photo documentation,& procurement technology software
• Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles andexhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
• Other duties as assigned

• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office, Procore, & Bluebeam products
• Knowledge of Manhattan document control and scheduling software
• Broad understanding of industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math/accounting skills
• Functions effectively as part of a team
