Position Summary
The District Manager, Mission Critical Services is responsible for the overall operational performance, customer satisfaction, workforce management, and financial execution of assigned Mission Critical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) accounts and facilities.
This position leads the day-to-day delivery of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency response, facility operations, staffing, scheduling, and customer service activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent execution across assigned campuses.
The District Manager serves as the day-to-day customer contact for operational matters and is accountable for maintaining service quality, operational readiness, workforce performance, contractual compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role partners closely with Division leadership to execute business objectives while supporting the continued growth and operational success of the mission critical Services business.
Operational Leadership
- Lead all day-to-day operations supporting assigned Mission Critical facilities and campuses.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed on schedule and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Maintain ownership of asset records and preventive maintenance data within customer-designated platforms, ensuring accurate documentation, maintenance compliance, equipment history tracking, and timely completion of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Oversee corrective maintenance, service requests, and break-fix repair activities from initiation through completion.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency service activities.
- Balance labor resources and staffing requirements to support operational demands and customer commitments.
- Monitor work order performance, completion rates, backlog management, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure operational consistency across assigned facilities and campuses.
- Coordinate resources, materials, and support services necessary to meet operational objectives.
- Support implementation of operational initiatives, procedures, and service standards established by Division leadership.
- Serve as the day-to-day customer contact for daily operational performance, service delivery, maintenance execution, and operational concerns.
- Maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders through proactive communication and responsive service.
- Participate in routine customer meetings, operational reviews, and service performance discussions.
- Resolve customer concerns, service issues, and operational escalations in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction objectives and contractual commitments are consistently achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support account growth initiatives.
- Directly manage Field Supervisors and provide overall leadership for Service Technicians, Reliability Technicians, and other assigned team members.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and staffing initiatives.
- Conduct performance management activities, coaching, employee development, and succession planning efforts.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure team members receive appropriate technical, safety, operational, and customer service training.
