hands-on leadership position
. We are looking for someone who can coach and develop BDRs, maintain accountability, monitor performance, and lead by example.

The right person understands that a successful BDC isn't about simply completing calls, texts, emails, and CRM tasks. It's about creating quality conversations, building rapport, overcoming objections, setting appointments, and ultimately getting customers into the dealership.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

  • Coach, develop, and motivate BDC Representatives

  • Conduct call reviews and one-on-one coaching
  • Help BDRs improve rapport building and objection handling
  • Ensure new leads are responded to quickly and professionally
  • Monitor lead response times and follow-up activity
  • Identify missed opportunities within the CRM
  • Monitor appointment sets, confirmations, shows, and sold customers
  • Help improve appointment-setting and show percentages

  • Communicate performance issues and opportunities to BDC management
  • Work with the sales team and management to ensure a smooth customer handoff
  • Help maintain consistent processes throughout the department
  • Keep the team focused on daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Recognize strong performance while addressing underperformance
  • Step in and work leads or phone calls when necessary
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive, competitive environment
How We Measure Success

This is a performance-driven position. The BDC Team Leader will be expected to understand, monitor, and improve key performance indicators, including:

  • Lead response time
  • Contact rate

  • Appointment show rate

    Sold appointments
  • CRM follow-up compliance
  • Call quality
  • Individual BDR performance
  • Overall team productivity

The Team Leader should understand

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Competitive and goal-oriented

  • Comfortable leading and motivating others
  • Comfortable holding employees accountable
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong on the phone
  • Confident handling customer objections

  • Able to identify performance problems and develop solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Able to balance customer experience with dealership performance

Preferred Experience

Automotive experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience in:

  • Automotive BDC
