Job Summary: The housing manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of assigned residents and physical facilities. The housing manager ensures compliance with policies and procedures specified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in all activities of the operation as specified in HUD 4350.3 of the 202/8, 811, and 202/8 capital advance program and other related manuals.

The housing manager assists the Director of Housing and in carrying out organizational policies and achieving departmental goals and objectives. The housing manager is immediately accountable to the Director of Housing regarding the discharge of duties, but must work cooperatively with all housing staff members and key personnel at the Gandy facility in order to ensure effective communication/relations.

Job Requirements: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree preferably in business administration or equivalent related experience. Three to four years of management experience; or five to six years supervisory experience in housing, customer service or related human services position. Subject to alcohol and drug testing. Subject to criminal history background checks.
