Marina Harbormaster

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marina Harbormaster to oversee the daily operations of our marina located in Grand Rivers, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing marina facilities, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of boaters, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Supervise and coordinate all marina activities including docking, mooring, and fueling operations.
• Ensure the safety and security of the marina, its vessels, and patrons.
• Manage slip rentals, reservations, and customer service inquiries.
• Maintain marina facilities and equipment, scheduling repairs and routine maintenance as needed.
• Enforce marina rules, regulations, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and logs related to marina operations.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management of marina resources.
• Train and supervise marina staff and seasonal employees.

• Previous experience in marina management, harbor operations, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of boating safety, navigation, and marina operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal boating regulations.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and marina management software.
• Valid driver’s license; boating license or certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
