*** Denver International Airport (DEN) is looking for a strong leader to join our team as the Emergency Management Training and Exercise Design this position, you will be responsible for coordinating emergency management training, and training related to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 139 and Emergency Preparedness training. You will oversee curriculum and administration of training programs, while ensuring training records are maintained in compliance with FAA Part 139 and other requirements.
Additionally, you will oversee the DEN emergency exercise programs manage the annual training and exercise schedule to ensure a ready and prepared airport.
This position provides supervision of employees who provide an agency or department with job related training and/ or exercise and develops goals and objectives in conjunction with departmental plans and goals.
Additional responsibilities will include:
* ** Emergency Management Program Leadership:
** Provide strategic oversight of DEN’s emergency management preparedness programs, ensuring alignment with FAA Part 139, HSEEP, NIMS, City, regional, state, and federal requirements, and airport emergency preparedness priorities.
* ** Emergency Planning and Preparedness:
** Lead cross-functional coordination for updates to DEN’s Airport Emergency Plan, Continuity of Operations Plan, Integrated Preparedness Plan, and related emergency management documents to ensure plans remain current, integrated, and operationally effective.
* ** Exercise and Improvement Program Oversight:
** Direct the planning, facilitation, evaluation, and documentation of discussion-based and operations-based exercises, including FAA-required exercises, After-Action Reports, Improvement Plans, annual…
