Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, On Call as needed for coverage

Essential Job Functions  
• Recruit, hire, train, assign, direct, counsel, discipline, and evaluate the performance of the Staff  
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of a daily residential schedule, ensuring the program meets Individuals’ needs and allows for their maximum involvement.  
• Responsible for homes’ staff schedules, ensuring home(s) are operating per required ratios and are within budget. Manages scheduling for all staffing needs and scheduling changes, following collective bargaining agreement protocols.  
• Responsible for the timely input of data into AWARDS, IPS, PAYCOR  
• Meets with direct support staff team bi-weekly; documents bi-weekly meeting minutes and provides same to the director.  
• Meets with direct support staff individually each month to support and train them in how to perform their essential job duties and responsibilities and educates staff on agency policies and procedures.  
• Enforces agency training mandates.  
• Works in cooperation with staff assigned to Individuals to ensure the client’s successful participation in appropriate recreational and community activities.  
• Facilitates communication and relationship building for Individuals.  
• Processes all incident and accident reports and human rights issues on time according to agency policy/procedure. Ensures the human rights of individuals are safeguarded in all interventions. Responsible for instructing staff on appropriate responses to Individual behavior.  
• Initiates investigatory meetings before generating employee notices/disciplinary statements. Initiates discipline and/or termination as needed for substandard performers. Initiates  disciplinary statements as needed and delivers same to staff per collective bargaining agreement. Participates in grievance meetings and arbitration hearings as required.  
• Maintains positive and regular communication with the Individual’s family members who have self-identified as interested in maintaining an active role in their disabled Individual’s life.  
• Ensures the medical services and records meet the needs of the Individuals and conform to regulations.  
• Provides crisis intervention and emergency coverage for assigned site(s). Secures additional resources as needed, identifies and resolves problems that resulted in an emergency situation. Performs direct support-related tasks in emergencies or as requested by supervisor.  
• Provides transportation for Individuals as needed.  
• Prepares site(s) and Individual records for DDS licensing and to meet the standards of quality established by the agency and funding sources.  
• Properly oversees medication administration within assigned group home(s) per MAP and Agency guidelines. Administers medication (or supports individuals who can self-medicate) following Agency, DDS, and American Red Cross guidelines (Medication Administration Procedures).  
• Responsible for weekly medication audits for assigned homes, ensuring medication supplies are ordered as needed.  
• Develops program goals and monitors the progress of the same for assigned site(s).  
• Monitors assigned home(s) for safe practices. Adheres to fire drill schedule; takes action as needed to correct any issues. Writes Individual and site safety plans. Devises systems to keep employee injuries at an assigned group home(s) as low as possible.  
• Acquires necessary equipment, supplies, food, and furnishings through established channels. Ensures equipment/supplies are inventoried, maintained, clean, safe, and in good repair. Communicates…
