Lvl Up is hiring a Head of Startup Sourcing and Community to build and scale the systems, relationships, and communities that enable the firm to discover exceptional founders before anyone else. This is a leadership role with significant autonomy to expand Lvl Up founder, scout, university, and ecosystem presence globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Startup Sourcing:
- Source exceptional startups across sectors and geographies
- Build repeatable systems to identify promising companies before they become widely known
- Develop thematic sourcing strategies around emerging industries and trends
- Create founder referral and community growth loops
- Conduct strategic outreach to top-tier startups
Scout Program Management:
- Scale and manage Lvl Up global scout network
- Recruit, onboard, and activate top-performing scouts
- Design incentives, engagement programs, and performance tracking
- Increase qualified startup referrals and ecosystem intelligence
Community Building:
- Build and lead university and founder community programs
- Develop strategic partnerships to expand deal flow
- Represent Lvl Up at key ecosystem events and conferences
This is a high-impact role at one of the most active VC firms globally, with direct influence on investment pipeline quality.
