The Clinical Manager is responsible that the assigned teams offer high quality, efficient and fiscally responsible services that add value to hospice, supporting its mission. The Clinical Manager is expected to support administration through collaboration and attendance of various meetings and community functions.

* JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, from school of nursing or health and public affairs school of social work
* Currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida by discipline
* Minimum of three years recent and relevant clinical leadership experience required; preferably in hospice
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities
** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: Service Excellence
* Advanced Care Exceptional Service (ACES) standards are exhibited by self. Hold others to same standards to receive excellent customer satisfaction outcome(s).

* Leadership competencies are the required skills, knowledge and attributes of leaders. Guide leaders toward the performance and accountabilities expected of them every day.
* Define and share strategies to promote best outcome(s) for customer satisfaction.
* Identify methods of education to promote excellent patient care.
* Promote positive relationships through regular communication and collaboration, providing constructive feedback that fosters a spirit of inquiry.
* Accept accountability for the clinical, organizational and fiscal success of the organization.
* Responsible for following, educating, and keeping department and organization’s policies current with accurate information.
* Support, supervise and provide education to other leaders in order to promote success of department and organization.
* Support and maintain organizational standards set for hospice department. Operational
* Evaluate staff by participating in field visits or on site visits; review of documentation and accountability of staff being evaluated.
* Attend and provide expertise at various meetings including Utilization Review, IDG, and Care Plan meetings.
* Participates and supports program development for assigned teams such as Bereavement and volunteer services.
* Ensure adequate resources, supplies and equipment are available for team operations.
* Provide supervision of employees in their respective team or service area and partner with other teams to ensure 24 hour accountability Financial
* Assist with budget preparation of assigned teams
* Monitor and provide guidance for team to adhere to budget such as labor, supplies, medications and DME
* Monitor all requests from teams for resources and ensure department use of items is fiscally a sound option Compliance/Quality Improvement
* Departmental activities meet compliance with all state and federal regulations
* Departmental activities meet compliance with organizational policies and standards
* Model high ethical values in all decision making
* Maintain policies assigned and update as needed
* Educate staff on policies and standards
