Core Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in materials management, production planning, and logistics within manufacturing.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional or multi-site teams.
- Prior experience optimizing inventory, working capital, and logistics costs.
The successful candidate will lead all materials management, production planning, inventory control, and logistics functions supporting the manufacture of fiberglass-based acoustic and thermal insulation products for automotive applications. This role ensures uninterrupted material flow, efficient production scheduling, and reliable delivery performance while balancing cost, inventory, and customer service requirements.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute materials, planning, and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives and customer demand.
- Lead production planning, SIOP/S&OP, and scheduling processes to support JIT/JIS automotive requirements.
- Ensure reliable material availability, inventory accuracy, and optimized working capital performance.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and on-time delivery performance to customers.
- Drive continuous improvement through ERP/MRP optimization, standard work, KPIs, and material flow initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while serving as a key escalation point for supply and delivery risks.
