About The Role:

This position is responsible for all ground operations, such as cleanup, greasing equipment, basic, routine maintenance in and around the plant.

• Perform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.
• Inspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.
• Cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Shoveling aggregate and wash out.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as bobcat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Education: GED or High School Diploma preferred
• Required Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions;
  Highly dependable; ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  Ability to learn plant flow, plant operations to include conveyors and crushing equipment;
  Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required;
  Previous experience in a construction or quarry environment is preferred;
  This job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work. Employees may have the work schedule adjusted on short notice;
  Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators; candidates wearing respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
