Description:
A leading Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on, technically strong Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-shift maintenance organization in a high-volume facility. This is a high-visibility role overseeing all plant maintenance, refrigeration/PSM, electrical systems, and equipment reliability for a 325-350 employee operation.

Team You'll Lead

You will manage 16 direct reports
, including:

• 2 Maintenance Leads
• Maintenance Technicians
• Electricians
• Refrigeration Technicians
• PSM Coordinator
• Parts Coordinator

Maintenance operates across 3 shifts supporting a 2-shift production schedule.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop the entire maintenance team
• Schedule technicians to optimize PMs, work orders, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with personnel policies, QA standards, and plant procedures
• Maintain accurate equipment documentation and CMMS records (E-Maintenance
  )
• Oversee contractors, bid small projects, and manage installations
• Diagnose equipment issues and support root cause analysis
• Manage HVAC, boilers, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, and RTE production equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure safe, compliant contractor operations
• Align maintenance downtime with production needs and communicate outage plans
• Drive continuous improvement to prevent repeat failures

What You Bring

• High School Diploma required; AS/BS preferred
• 7+ years of supervisory/management experience in industrial maintenance
• Food & beverage manufacturing experience required
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration or PSM
• Advanced CMMS experience (E-Maintenance strongly preferred
  )
• Strong PLC troubleshooting (programming a plus), VFDs, and 480V electrical
• Experience with boilers, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, and utilities
• Thorough understanding of OSHA and safety standards
• Strong time-management, prioritization, and communication skills
• Understanding of GMPs in food manufacturing
