What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks safely to transport materials throughout the quarry site
- Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability
- Follow established haul routes, traffic patterns, and site safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch, loaders, and team members to support efficient material movement
- Report equipment issues and maintain cleanliness to support safe operations
- Ability to safely operate heavy haul equipment in a quarry or similar environment
- Strong focus on safety, awareness, and adherence to procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production setting
- Mechanical awareness with the ability to identify and report concerns
- Dependable and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $19.50 per hour
