What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate haul trucks to transport raw materials throughout the quarry site
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Follow designated haul routes and traffic patterns to maintain safe and efficient site operations
- Communicate with dispatch, loaders, and other operators to coordinate material movement
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly
- Ability to safely operate heavy haul equipment in a quarry or similar environment
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and situational awareness
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Mechanical awareness to identify and report equipment issues
- Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $19.50 per hour
