The Yard Truck Operator reports to the production support manager. The role is responsible for all communications of available inventory and trailers in the yard, managing the movement of all trailers and trucks owned by Lyons as well as the cargo inside. The employee must keep a clean and safe work environment for themselves and others. The position is on call during the week with potential non‑scheduled hours to assist operations.

Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Schedule: Monday - Friday Location: Walton, KY (Wednesday through Sunday overtime possible.)

• Checking for equipment failures and safety issues with equipment.
• Moving trailers into and out of dock doors to allow operations and warehousing to continue running.
• Confirming all loads or trailers have been moved or staged prior to leaving for the day.
• Ensuring equipment is fueled and operational.
• Keeping equipment clean inside and out.
• Performing other duties at the discretion of management.
• Complying with all GMP and Safe Food Handling Policies.
• Reporting safety or maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor or by filling out a work order request.

• Active participation in the LME safety program.
• Abides by all internal policies, including GMP, attendance, and productivity.
• Completes any job‑related training within the allotted timeframe.
• Maintains a high level of productivity in compliance with position requirements.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Flexible work schedule and willingness to work Wednesday through Sunday with overtime.
• Dependable.
• Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment, including Fork Lifts and Pallet Jacks.

• Very good mathematical skills.
• Experience with working in Excel and understanding of tables.
