We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production performance. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, troubleshooting equipment failures, and implementing timely repairs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive approach to equipment reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and troubleshoot equipment failures.
  • Promote and support the highest level of safety in daily activities.
  • Serve as the primary maintenance leader during shift rotation, providing support to production teams.
  • Lead or co‑lead assigned maintenance systems such as HVAC, risk assessments, and system cleans.
  • Answer service calls, including off‑shift emergencies; diagnose, repair, or replace defective parts.
  • Provide effective troubleshooting for both electrical and mechanical equipment, including complex control panels.
  • Offer training and instructions for operators on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area; observe prescribed safety precautions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
  • Advise engineering personnel on maintenance and project activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and teamwork to minimize line downtime.
  • Cooperate with peers to ensure coverage for overtime and vacation relief.
  • Maintain daily maintenance systems, storeroom, inventory, and documentation as per procedures.
  • Perform alignment, balancing, lubrication, oil analysis, inspections, calibration, and adjustments.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and adhere to part‑failure procedures.
  • Complete work orders in CMMS (Maximo) and follow up with assigned tasks.
  • Use practices such as line clearance after maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties and overtime as scheduled.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High‑school diploma or GED required. Formalized training/certification is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Skilled with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and industrial maintenance equipment.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Problem‑Solving & Troubleshooting
    • Rapid identification and resolution of equipment malfunctions.
    • Root‑cause analysis for recurring maintenance issues.
  • Preventive Maintenance Knowledge
    • Understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance schedules and best practices.
    • Experience with CMMS.
  • Communication Skills
    • Clear and effective communication with peers, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams.
    • Ability to write detailed reports and update maintenance records.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility
    • Capable of adjusting to shifting priorities and responding to unplanned breakdowns.
    • Ability to work on various types of equipment and adjust methods as needed.
