Supervisor FSQA – Food Safety & Quality Assurance

Supervisor FSQA plays a pivotal role in upholding quality standards for Tyson Foods' food products. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards of products produced on a specific shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead FSQA technicians on assigned shift.
  • Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date (Record Verification).
  • Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer‑specific audits.
  • Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues (Issue Resolution).
  • Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks (Production Oversight).
  • Execute GMP and Housekeeping Audits to ensure cleanliness and adherence to GMP standards.
  • Oversee the annual reassessment of HACCP.
  • Facilitate team member food safety training.
  • Provide flexible coverage on other shifts as needed, including occasional weekend work.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a food manufacturing environment; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs; HACCP/HARPC certification preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for creating simple queries and spreadsheets; SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate across multiple disciplines and with all levels of team members.
  • High-level critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must reside in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Work Schedule

Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States). Flexible work hours with occasional weekend coverage.
