General Laborer; Night Shift

Position Overview

General Laborer – Pine Mountain Quarry Operations. Supports daily production and maintenance activities, cooperates with foreman and crew to meet work schedules, and assists in all quarry and equipment operations.

• Partner with other quarry employees to complete tasks as directed by the foreman, ensuring daily schedules and estimates are met.
• Perform general labor, including shoveling, handling plant equipment, and executing power and hand‑tool tasks as needed.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment and power tools, performing routine oil, grease, and servicing work to keep machines running efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and PPE protocols.
• Support crew operations by helping with flexible tasks and additional duties as required.
• Adhere to the company’s safety, quality and integrity standards in all activities.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance in accordance with company policy.
• Pass a drug test and criminal background check.

High school diploma or equivalent. Physical ability to lift and move up to 100 lb. Ability to work 8‑12 hour shifts in extreme temperatures. Basic mechanical and equipment operation skills preferred.

• Frequent sitting, climbing, signaling, and handling equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, bending, and reaching above shoulders.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50–100 lb.
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision required.
