Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year
Job Details Responsibilities- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving OEE, and optimizing cycle times.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis utilizing 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why methodologies.
- Improve process capability and reduce variation throughout manufacturing operations.
- Support APQP, PPAP, and FMEA activities for new and existing products.
- Improve tooling performance and reduce mold changeover times.
- Develop Standard Work and manufacturing documentation.
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Train manufacturing personnel on Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement tools.
- Support new product launches and manufacturing process development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
- 2+ years of Automotive Manufacturing experience
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and IATF 16949
- Plastic or Rubber Injection Molding
- Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing
- Automotive sealing systems
- OEE improvement initiatives
- Scrap reduction
- Cycle time optimization
- Tooling optimization
- Automation projects
- Excel and Minitab
