Champion Builders - Production Workers . Day Shift

WE ARE HIRING! NEW STARTING WAGE = $16.50 PER HOUR! At Champion Home Builders in Benton, Ky, we are currently looking for an additional 10 people to join our team.

• Starting base wage $16.50 per hour (possible higher based on skill set)
• Bonus program: up to an additional $4.00–$6.00 per hour after 30 days of continuous employment

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
• Keeps area neat and clean
• Reads and uses a tape measure
• Reads blueprints and orders
• Communicates well with coworkers
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

• Strong work ethic
• Can work quickly and methodically
• Understand safety procedures
• Good teamwork skills

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

• Must pass a drug screen

Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
