We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Provide consistent and timely support to the company, vendors, and customers as it relates to all warehouse duties and supports the production floor. An ideal candidate is someone with solid warehouse work experience, effective communication skills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!

Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Process all inbound & outbound shipments including sorting, logging, and delivering material.
  • Verify packing slips from suppliers with MCC purchase order; check for correct quantity, information, and hidden damage.
  • Unload receivables from trucks to storage area.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of material. Ensure materials are properly located and maintained.
  • Process all receiving transactions and paperwork.
  • Inspect all incoming freight for damage; follow up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Obtain material from stock and distribute received items to appropriate department.
  • Take materials to presses as needed for job orders and obtain unused material from presses.
  • Review job ticket for shipping requirements and special instructions.
  • Ensure that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order.
  • Document the amount shipped and calculate total amount packaged.
  • Participate in scheduling of daily transportation.
  • Perform inventory of all stored materials and finished products.
  • Communicate with transportation companies as appropriate.
  • Interact with Accounts Payable and Purchasing on questionable invoices.
  • Advise all essential personnel of returned goods.
  • Communicate with appropriate associates to verify information on job tickets prior to packaging/shipping job orders.
  • Provide information to Supervisor regarding non-conformance or incorrect job tickets.
  • Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience strongly desired.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and carry up to 20 feet (frequently); lift to 75 lbs and carry up to 10 feet (occasionally).
  • Ability to pass a vision test (20/20 or better).
  • Ability to differentiate colors (pass a color test).
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12‑hour shifts).
  • Possess skills to prioritize, multi‑task, and work in a fast‑paced environment.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
