Wood Shop Worker

$16/hour

DRC Industries is a full-service manufacturing and converting operation in a 150,000ft facility in Carrollton, KY. Our customers are steel mills, metal processors, food & beverage manufacturers, contract packaging/fulfillment facilities, furniture manufacturers, automotive suppliers, agricultural industries, and the flooring protection/polishing. DRC is 2 minutes off of I-71.

Entry level workers needed for our wood shop. Incumbents in this position are responsible for assisting with set-up of work area, using power tools (nail guns & saws) to build wooden pallets and maintaining cleanliness of work area. Experience with using a tape measure, and power tools required.

• 1st shift (6am start, 8-10 hour days), Monday - Friday with possible OT on weekend
• Starting pay – $16.00/hour

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, team lift up to 150 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hour shifts)
• Must be capable of working in various temperature conditions including heat, humidity and cold
• Must be able to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of product.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
