Location: Carrollton

We are looking for a Plant Manager who will oversee all aspects of plant operations for a facility of 150+ employees. The role involves managing production, quality control, maintenance, personnel, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily operations to meet production schedules.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and health and safety policies.
  • Lead plant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture emphasizing safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the plant budget, including cost control and financial planning.
  • Analyze operational details, financial metrics, and performance data for informed decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain high product quality standards.
  • Oversee maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and present reports on plant performance, production metrics, and operational issues to senior management.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of plant management experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • In‑depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Proven experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget‑management experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems.
