As the Casting Supervisor, you’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership for casting operations while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily casting department operations and production personnel.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and staffing to meet operational goals.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate employees while fostering accountability and teamwork.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Support training and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience leading production teams in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in metal manufacturing, foundry, casting, rolling, or copper production.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Experience working with ERP or manufacturing reporting systems.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and production planning.
