Position
Spinner Operator – Spinning Department
Responsibilities- Select the proper mold and set up as per production schedule.
- Check resin gel times to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Review shop drawing for accuracy, ensure glass layout is correct, and injection gun is set up.
- Place the required amount and type of fiberglass inside the mold following standard procedures and print requirements.
- Properly inject appropriate amount of resin per drawing and environmental conditions.
- When pole has gel, knock pole out, inspect for defects and place in buggy.
- Remove mold and place on rack to allow cooling.
- Clean and prepare the mold for further molding processes, ensuring all debris have been removed.
- Keep containers containing chemicals labeled and covered at all times in accordance with EPA and fire prevention standards.
- Keep work area and molding equipment clean, emptying all trash, putting away all tools, etc. in their proper location at the end of the shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Be proficient with the use of hand tools.
- Be able to understand order prints and follow production schedule.
- Basic math skills up to and including the use of fractions and percentages.
- Must maintain supplies needed on a weekly basis.
- Must be able to lift at least 60+ lbs.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Be able to read and follow written and oral directions.
- Be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.

Working Environment and Physical EffortsIncumbent will not be required to travel. Work is typically performed in a manufacturing setting. Incumbent is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, talk and listen to coworkers and supervisors. The work environment is generally fast‑paced and demanding. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is often required to stand;
walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Talking and hearing is required for this role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. This position may require the incumbent to work outside during all seasons of the year.
The position may require moving about, lifting, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and kneeling in many instances.
