PositionSummary
The Group Lead, in addition to performing normal duties in their job classifications, takes a leadership role guiding and directing work to a team of an assigned work area. Daily and weekly instruction and priorities are established and communicated by direct supervisor.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Prioritize and distribute work in group by order schedule
- Coordinate workflow to meet daily production goals
- Report status of jobs to Supervisor at least daily
- Effectively utilize personnel skillsets in finishing to complete work efficiently
- Serve as pro‑active employee support to team members. This includes but is not limited to ensuring all employees in Finishing have the proper PPE, tooling, and work instructions
- Ensure all 6S initiatives are understood and completed by all Finishing Employees
- Ensure all personnel adhere to safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties of greater or lesser complexity as required by the position or assigned by supervision
- Operate equipment and complete normal job duties when not engaged in Lead activities. (Lead duties should not consume more than 20% of time)

- Minimum One Year of experience in the Finishing department
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
