Utility Laborer

Utility Laborers are needed for a Steel Galvanizing Facility in Greenup, KY! Job duties include unloading incoming steel from delivery trucks using forklifts, racking pieces by forklift, hand, and overhead cranes, inserting wooden spacers between beams to separate them for dipping, using remote controls to operate overhead cranes to move bundles, operating the galvanizer while wearing heat protective jumpsuits and face protectors, unbundling beams from crane using clippers while wearing hand and eye protection, bundling beams using a bundling machine, and moving finished products via forklift.

Pay starts at $14.63 an hour with opportunity for weekly production bonuses! Full-time positions with rotating swing shift schedule! 4 days on, 4 days off! Group A & Group B- rotate on the same days, 12-hour shifts Group C & Group D- rotate on the same days, 12-hours shifts. Requirements include passing a drug screen and having a clean background, experience operating a forklift and other machinery preferred, unloading and loading materials, ability to stand for the entire shift, steel toed boots, ability to lift 100+ lbs repeatedly, and wearing appropriate PPE.
