SUMMARY
Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems.
- Operate high pressure water blasting machines.
- Tests, repairs and calibrates facility relief valves.
- Utilizes electric, air and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
- Utilizes cutting equipment.
- Rigs for lifting equipment.
- Cleans up work area following completion of assigned job task and properly disposes of waste materials.
- Returns tools and equipment to normal storage area.
Minimum four years industrial pipe fitting experience for primary skill and attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen in performance of their duties.
