Location:
Glendale, KY (Onsite 5 Days/Week) training first in Marshall, MI Term:
Full-Time | Direct Hire Compensation:
Up to $120,000 annually (with 13th Month Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits) Training Notes:
There will be a training period of up to 6 months. During this time, this Systems Engineer will be required to work from the Marshall, MI office, as all training is conducted there. Upon successful completion of the training, this engineer will be deployed to the Glendale, KY office for their permanent assignment. Accommodation in Marshall, MI will be provided for the duration of the training period.
Relocation assistance is also being offered.
Job Description Provide on-site support for production line operations, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution of technical issues. Train production line personnel on the use of manufacturing systems and IT tools to improve operational efficiency and compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), quality systems, and material systems to maintain smooth production flow. Analyze business requirements and recommend optimizations to manufacturing modules, enhancing productivity and meeting operational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT systems with manufacturing processes and ensure alignment with company standards. Implement and manage (MES), Manufacture Work Report (MWR), Manufacture Company Collection (MCC) to optimize production schedules and resource utilization. Lead projects to upgrade and enhance manufacturing systems, ensuring scalability and responsiveness to evolving business needs. Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing manufacturing systems. Proven experience in implementing and supporting manufacturing systems, including MES, MWR, and MCC. Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing IT systems within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and other industrial automation technologies is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data to identify operational improvements. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position. Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels.
